jailbreak iOS 10.1 tested on iPhone 7
There were no much news regarding iOS 10 jailbreak shortly, around all of the upgrades now we have a good news for you. Don’t worry guys, now you can jailbreak your iOS 10. The famous iOS hacker Luca Todesco was the 1st guy that came across with a good news on jailbreak iOS 10.1.
This time it’s not Luca, here’s another hacker with a fake name called @ijapijaoo. He has added his new video to twitter showing a procedure to setup jailbreak on iOS 10.1 on an iPhone 7. He says that jailbreak iOS 10.1 method works with iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak as well.
The current and latest firmware update from Apple can be named as iOS 10.1.1, but there are some signals on releasing iOS 10.2 because the release of iOS 10.2 beta. Yet the current version is iOS 10.1.1. @ijapijaoo’s effort on his innovation will be a hit because he has jailbroken the current latest version of iOS. Apple personals are still struggling with developing many security fixes and patches through out their continuous firmware upgrades to close loop holes which make jailbreak easy.
@ijapijaoo’s method is completely based on a small single exploit on iOS 10.1 and observed as “Stable”. Apple has included their latest security patch KPP (Kernel Patch Protection) to avoid unauthorized access and jailbreaks on the OS Kernel. Also the KPP security makes the jailbreak unstable. However @ijapija00’s method had the power and technology to maneuver across all the barriers which has been fixed by Apple.

Similar to the Luca’s Cydia download on iOS 10 upgrade, the above method achieves the Cydia substrate using a special irregular library, it makes iOS 10 environment ready for Cydia. Though Cydia is not updated according to the iOS 10 specification it allows to perform jailbreak operations properly.
@ijapijaoo uses several third-party system query apps to show device information including iPhone model and iOS version. Official method is following the “Setting” menu and navigating to the “About” tab. So, it may build a doubt on our minds. It’s better to refer more detail and always remember to make particular backups before you begin any kind of jailbreak.
Previously, there was a same situation setting-up jailbreak iOS 9.3.3 using Pangu. The method seems to be semi-untethered as appeared in the video. It was showing a special app on Home-screen, the app holds the jailbreak and maintains it over each and every reboot. So, you don’t need a computer to reboot your device without losing the jailbreak status.
The developer says, the method is not still ready for the public use. So it will consume some time to release the complete iOS 10.1 jailbreak with Cydia and jailbreak iOS 10.1.1.
